SPACE/time
A space bias binds everyone right now through what is essentially the news. A time bias, though, binds everyone, period. Throughout all history from the time it is created to now. The 10 commandments, the Roseta stone, ancient hierglyphics. These permanent messages have been studied, followed, and debated over since their inceptions. Katrina in the newspaper, broadcast on TV/radio, even articles on the internet, while important to us now, followed by all, will be gone next year. The news on Katrina will dwindle as New Orleans slowly rebuilds. Soon, we will talk about the new disater or whatever news dominates next year. Though the internet seemingly will always be there, the information of today will become hard to access because people will want the updated news. Therefore, the internet is not as much of a time bias as others may think. It seems as though time bias is dying out. Who carves messages in stone anymore? Who has discussions solely face-to-face anymore? Media is taking place online more than anything.
